电子眼（警察）”英语怎么说

据报道，到明年3月底前，朝阳区奥运场馆及设施周边地区等重点部位，将安装近2000个摄像头，实现重点地区“电子眼”覆盖无缝隙。

请看外电相关报道：Beijing is adding thousands of surveillance cameras in and around venues for the 2008 Summer Olympics, official newspapers reported Saturday, as authorities launched a new crackdown on rowdy fan behavior.

In its report on the installation of new security cameras, the Beijing News said that just in the eastern district of Chaoyang, home to the Olympic Stadium and many other key venues, extra 2,000 cameras will be installed by March.

报道中的“surveillance camera”指的是“监测探头”，也就是我们日常所说的“电子眼”或“摄像头”。

此外，马路上拍摄违章车辆的“电子眼（电子警察/摄像头）”一般表达为“road safety camera”或“red-light camera”。

这里再顺便一下聊天工具里安装的“摄像头 ”，它一般表达为“Webcam”，由“web+camera”得来。
