Seth: Why does Taiwan have so many damned scam artists?
Ash: Between elderly pensioners and the young and naive like us, there's a huge market!
Seth: But what can be done to stop it?
Ash: Maybe stiffer penalties for the criminals? Who knows? I'm sure better education would help.
Seth: What kind of class can help with this kind of thing? I thought I won one million dollars last week. If Milt didn't stop me, I would probably be out of every cent I've ever made.

爱许：从领养老金的老人到像我们一样年轻又好骗的人，这个市场很大啊！
赛司：但是要如何阻止这类事情发生呢？

赛司：什么课会对这类事件有帮助？上星期我以为我赢了一百万。如果米特没有阻止我，我可能会赔上所赚的每一分钱。

I'm a stranger here.
从小妈妈就教我‘路在嘴边’，出门迷路要立刻去问人，但是当你去到人生路不熟的地方时，别人跑来向你问路，而你又不懂，你则可以对他说："I'm a stranger here."（对我来讲，这儿很陌生。）除此之外，也可以用 "I'm not from here."（我不是当地人）。当别人知道你从外地来，很自然会想到“哦，原来你是老外。”(You're a foreigner.) 这句英文在语法上是正确的，但听起来好像带有点排斥、岐视的语气，教你一句较客气的讲法 "Oh! You're not from here."（原来你不是本地人。），或者你可直接问 "Where are you from?"（请问你从哪来？）这样会较亲切哩！
对话 A：Excuse me. Would you tell me where the SOGO shopping arcade is?
B：Sorry, I don't know. I'm a stranger here. You should ask somebody else.
A：Thanks anyway.
B：You're welcome. I wish I could have helped you.
甲：不好意思，请问SOGO购物中心在哪里？
乙：很抱歉，我不知道。我不熟悉这儿，请你问其它人吧。
甲：没关系, 谢谢。
乙：不用客气，我真想可以帮到你。
如果你初到某地，有外地人用英文向你问路，则应该老老实实告诉他：Sorry, I'm not sure. I'm a stranger here/I'm new around here too/I'm just passing through/I'm from out of town myself（对不起，我不清楚。我对这里并不熟悉/我也是初来这里的/我只是路过这儿/我也是从外地来的）。
From out of town即‘从其它地方来到这城里’。留意town字的用法：一般字典都把town译做‘镇’，city译做‘城市’，但town其实也可指大城市，例如：Guangzhou is my favorite town（广州是我喜欢的城市）。
你也会发觉，town字有时会用冠词(article) a 或the，有时却不用。用不用其实有规矩可循。首先，town可以指市中心商业区，例如：He works in (the) town, and lives in the suburbs（他在市中心工作，在近郊居住。这个town可以不用冠词。
指某一区内最重要的城市，town字循例不用冠词。在英国，这个town往往指伦敦，例如He went up to town form Windsor（他从温莎去到伦敦）。
此外，说自己居住的城市，也不用冠词，所以I'll be out of town next week和I'll be out of the town next week这两句，同样是说‘我下星期会出城’，但第一句的我是城中居民，第二句的我却不是。
