Banai: It was. We're fighting for our health.
Morley: Can I interview you and some other people about this? After we have some fun, that is.
Banai: Sure. We want as many people to know about it as possible.
Morley: Hey, what was that jumping out of the water?
Banai: That was a flying fish.
Morley: Wow. There's another one! I never realized they could fly so far.
Banai: When I was a child, we used to take wooden boats out to catch them.

The next day, they all get on a boat to go to Orchid Island
Dan: I heard the government left a lot of nuclear waste here. Have they cleaned it up yet?
Banai: No, not yet. Many people from my tribe have gone to Taipei to pressure the government to do something about it.
Dan: Were you ever part of the protests?
Banai: In 2002, I steered my boat in front of a ship that was trying to bring nuclear waste to the island. We stopped it dead in the water.
Dan: That sounds kind of like being in a battle.
